Arts Review by Jade is a blogsite featuring reviews of arts-based projects, performances and venues in Melbourne, Bayside and Mornington Peninsula.

The blog is inspired by the role of Frankston Arts Centre and the adjacent community arts space, Cube 37, in encouraging local residents to experience a wide range of high-profile concerts, visual arts exhibitions and community access workshops. Arts Review by Jade also aims to engage a diverse range of people for the shared enjoyment of the arts in our community by providing interesting, easy-to-read articles.

The writer, Jade Barker, is qualified with a Master of Arts (Music Performance) from Monash University. Jade is a full-time flutist in the Royal Australian Navy Band; a position she has enjoyed for 12 years. Her writing has developed through journaling, postgraduate research, professional documents and article-writing.
